Dog Photographer in Brighton – Calm, Natural Dog Portrait Photography

I photograph dogs the way I train them — with patience, empathy, and an eye for who they really are.

I've been a studio portrait photographer for 15 years, so when I first started to photograph dogs, studio work felt like a natural starting point. But while some dogs thrive in that calm, focused environment, others are most alive outdoors— exploring, moving, being themselves in places that make sense to them.

So I offer shoots that cater to both: studio sessions for that timeless fine-art look, and outdoor sessions for natural movement and character. The approach is the same either way — calm, unhurried, and built around trust.

Studio sessions

Clean, timeless portraits with controlled lighting. Perfect for that classic fine-art aesthetic, for dogs who settle well indoors.

Outdoor sessions

Natural movement and character in their favorite environment. For dogs who come alive outdoors —running, exploring, being themselves.

GET IN TOUCH

How it works

Before your session, we’ll talk through what your dog enjoys, what makes them comfortable, and where they’ll feel most at ease. Sessions usually last around an hour, with time to pause and let your dog reset if needed.

Afterwards, you’ll receive a proof gallery to select your favourite images. Portraits can be ordered as fine art prints, mounted frames, or bespoke wall pieces on metal, acrylic, or fine art paper — all made to last a lifetime.

Prints and products

If you'd like your images printed, I offer fine-art prints, matted frames, metal, canvas, and acrylic—with prices starting from just £18 for prints and £125 for framed pieces. Get in touch to talk through what would work best for your space.
